Hi, I'm Jerry, a software engineer, systems thinker, and lifelong learner in the age of AI.
Over the past 10+ years, I've worked across data engineering, cloud computing, web development, and AI engineering. My background is equally diverse, spanning geographic information systems, computer science, and mathematics. This combination has given me a multi-disciplinary perspective that influences how I approach software development and problem-solving. I enjoy tackling complex problems, building innovative solutions, and collaborating with diverse teams to solve real-world challenges. Throughout my career, I've contributed to projects in various industries, including energy, environment, agriculture, and business intelligence.
I am a full-stack, full-lifecycle builder. I enjoy taking things from early prototypes, to solution development, then to production deployment, operations, and on-going maintenance, working across the entire stack, such as frontend, backend, delivery, infrastructure, documentation, DevSecOps, and so on. My philosophy is simple: build it, own it, be responsible for it.

Life in Colorado means the mountains are never far, and skiing in winter and hiking in summer are what I'm happiest about outside of work. Meditation is a constant — a daily reminder that the world is always in change. The rest of my time tends to go toward reading and learning new things, and cooking delicious meals in the kitchen to enjoy with my family.
